“And we know that ALL THINGS work together for good to THEM THAT LOVE GOD, to them who are the CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE… Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? … Nay, in ALL THESE THINGS we are MORE THAN CONQUERORS through Him that loved us.” Rom. 8:28,35,37
Very inspiring, powerful and reassuring and indeed very comforting word of the Lord to His beloved ones whom He called to relationship with Him! [Please read and meditate on the whole chapter 8 of this Book Romans – indeed powerful Goodnews for believers in Christ, that makes you always on top and praising
God no matter what you face in life!]
Here, the Lord assures us that as long as we love the Lord and have been called from darkness into His kingdom of light, where the Lord Jesus is in the centre of our lives and we keep holding unto faith in Him, then our Almighty God will make ALL THINGS to work together for our good! ‘ALL THINGS’ here means both good and bad things, pains, disappointments, health matters, family matters, needs, etc. The Lord our sovereign God specialises in turning anything the enemy planned for evil, to work for our good, glory to God! He always has a way of escape and solution for His people such that it will end in praise, hallelujah!
No wonder King David who faced many enemies because of God’s anointing and calling upon his life also said: “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, BUT the Lord delivers him from THEM ALL. He keeps all his bones that none of them is broken.” Psalm 34:19-20. Hence, the Lord is in total control of everything around you and me, and nothing will go out of His hand, and He will surely deliver the righteous, a believer in Christ, glory to God!
Therefore, reminding us of what St. Paul said above in Romans, we are called more than winners/conquerors because the Winner, the Lord Jesus is inside us by His Spirit! He won, so also, we win! He has glorified us, lifted us to sit with Him in heavenly places-far above all principalities and powers, above every negativity or challenge we might face in life-Eph. 1:20-23;2:5-6. Before the battle or any challenge begins, victory is assured us in Christ Jesus, glory to God!
NOTE: God loves you unconditionally and has you in the palm of His hands no matter what you go through in life! He has the last word in every matter! OUR RESPONSE: Keep always praising and thanking God even more and more! Sing joyfully to Him from your heart. Keep loving Him and obeying every word of God. See yourself on top always not below, on top of every challenge or negativity! Keep holding unto faith in the Lord and His word, and expect God to do
and perfect what concerns you in every area of life both here on earth and in eternity in heaven! Remember the Lord is coming very soon, and to live each day (in holiness and righteousness from your heart and outwardly) as if Christ is coming today and you are READY to meet with and be with Him forever, amen!
