I will never leave you, nor forsake you… says the Lord!

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I WILL NEVER LEAVE THEE, NOR FORSAKE THEE. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my HELPER, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Heb.13:5-6.

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time: CASTING ALL YOUR CARE UPON HIM; FOR HE CARETH FOR YOU.” 1Peter 5:6-7

Very inspiring and reassuring words from our caring and loving heavenly Father God, who sees and knows us very well and has solution! Sometimes when overwhelmed by the needs or matters around you, there may tendency to compare yourself with others, asking why me, or even coveting or trying to get by all means what others have. But the wise counsel of the Lord is that we should do away with covetousness and comparism with others; instead thank and praise God in all things and at all times joyfully, and be content/satisfied with whatever we have at any given time especially with the awareness of having Him as Lord and Saviour! Then receive and be comforted by His eternal word- that I will never leave you, nor forsake you! Also Deuteronomy 31:6,8.In other words God knows about and sees every matter, challenge or need around you, and Has a way of escape or solution for you! The Lord Almighty is not indifferent towards your matters and needs!

Surrender matters to God and give thanks!

Now what shall you do? Apostle Peter counselled us from the above text, that we should humble ourselves before God’s mighty hands, hence, confess our total dependence on the Lord, and then cast or surrender that matter/matters or needs unto God’s mighty and all-sufficient hand because indeed God cares for you. Further, go on to thank God in faith that He heard and has taken control of the matter, and surely the answer/solution will come in Jesus’ name! Compare Philippians 4:6-7-“be careful for nothing but in everything by and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which passes understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.”

May you be comforted and strengthened that the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you, but is coming to you at your point of need as you continue to hold unto faith in the Lord and His eternal word, in Jesus’ name!

Have a blessed, victorious and fruitful day and daily life in Christ Jesus.
