Trusting the Lord

“They that TRUST in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about His people from henceforth even forever. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts. As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.” Psalm 125

A very inspiring, powerful and reassuring scripture on trusting, relying, depending, resting in and looking unto the Lord our God, who is Lord and Owner and Maker of all things, who has all power in His hands, who can do all things, who cares the best for His people as a good Shepherd (Psalm 23), glory to God!

Please note and meditate on this Psalm 125! No matter any challenge you may be facing in these trying times, the Lord is still very much on the throne, He sees you (God- Elroi), and has a way of escape and solution for you as you continue to hold unto faith and trust and confidence in the Lord and His infallible word!

As you trust and hold unto God this way, you are compared to mount Zion, solid and immovable, lasting /enduring and overcoming hard times, glory to God! And further, the Lord assures us that He Himself surrounds us His people who trust in Him, just as mountains surround Jerusalem! His watchful and all-seeing eyes are upon you and me, and hence, nothing will go out of control, and He will surely make a way of escape or solution for you, in Jesus’ name, glory to God!

Promised victory and God’s protection

God promises not to allow the enemy’s rod to rest or stay on you and on what He has for you! God knows what you can bear and promises that in every trial, temptation or test He will always make a way of escape so that you can come out victorious, glory to God! See 1Cor.10:13. And I decree that the enemy’s hand be taken out of what the Lord has for you, in Jesus’ name!

And God also promises to do good to us His people, hence, He will not withhold any good thing we need for life and godliness from us who trust in Him and walk blamelessly- see also Psalm 84:11; 2Peter 1:3. Thank You Lord!

So, child of God, be encouraged and strengthened in your faith and trust in the Lord your God by these inspiring words! Keep praising Him, singing unto the Lord and lifting up His awesome name, for our God is good and His mercies endure forever! And surely He will come to prove His great goodness in your life and situation, hallelujah, all glory to Jesus!

Have a blessed, victorious, joyful and fruitful week and daily life in Christ Jesus.
