Prayers and declarations for May 2024

“…You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes, and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” (Isaiah 62:6-7)

“Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart.” (Luke 18:1).

“Pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1Thes. 5:17-18).

“You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so, light will shine on your ways.” (Job 22:28)

First week

1. Almighty and glorious God my Father, I thank You and praise You for bringing me into this fifth month May, in this our year of transformation and readiness, in Jesus’ name.
2. O Eternal and Faithful God my Father, I thank and praise You for all Your great blessings, goodness and mercies, new converts/salvation, protections, healings, successes in exams, new jobs, promotions, weddings, joy, victories and breakthroughs, etc, and other things You did for me and Your redeemed people in the previous months, and surely much more are coming in this May and months ahead, in Jesus’ mighty name, amen!
3. O Lord God my Father, I thank and praise You for the power and Spirit of Your spoken word by which all things were created both visible and invisible, and You uphold all things by Your eternal word; therefore, help me and Your redeemed people to value every word of God and let it fulfil Your desired purpose upon and through our lives, in Jesus’ name. Gen.1:1-3.
4. Almighty and everlasting God my Father, I thank and praise You that according to Your eternal word, forever o LORD Your word is settled in heaven; therefore, let every word of God (God’s thought, mind, will, commandment, decree, ordination, promise, purpose), as it has been ordained in heaven let it be so concerning every area of my life here on earth all to God’s glory, in Jesus’ name. Psalm 119:89; Mat. 6:10.
5. O Lord my Father, I thank and praise You that Your word is a lamp to feet and light to my path; therefore, I receive clear illumination and direction through Your word, and let every darkness or confusion disappear and let the light, understanding and truth of Your word by the Holy Spirit come me, in Jesus’ name. Psalm 119:105,130.
6. O Most High God my Father, I thank and praise You that according to Your eternal word, that You have magnified, lifted, exalted Your word and Your name above all things; therefore, I declare and lift the word of God and the mighty name of Jesus Christ above every negativity, setbacks, weaknesses, diseases, or any power of the devil… and they must all bow down and be totally defeated, in Jesus’ name! Psalm 138:2; Philippians 2:10-11.

Second week

7. O Lord of Hosts (over all forces, power or armies whether physical or spiritual), I declare according to Your eternal word, that I and all believers have authority given by You, to thread upon serpents and scorpions, and over every power of the enemy and his cohorts, and nothing shall by any means harm us; therefore, I subdue and crush under feet every obstacle or negativity or plans of the enemy, in Jesus’ name. Luke 10:19.
8. Almighty God my Father, I join the psalmist to declare and do what pleases You most: I will praise God’s name in song and glorify Him with thanksgiving; this will please the Lord more than a bull with its horns and hoofs, in Jesus’ name. Psalm 30:30-31. [Sing two or more songs and praise God’s awesome name, thanking Him for what He has done.]
9. O Lord God my Father, I thank You for the greatest gift of grace given to us which is salvation and eternal life through faith in the Lord Jesus; therefore, help me and Your redeemed people to value this precious gift by holding strongly unto faith in You, love and obedience to You and uncompromising stand for the Bible truth till the end, in Jesus’ name. Eph. 2:8-10; Mat. 24:13.
10. O gracious and merciful God my Father, in this fifth month (and five is the number of grace) and in accordance with Your infallible word, arise and have mercy upon me, for the time to favour me has come, yea the set time has come; so Lord, do amazing things in and for my life, making impossibility to be possible, lifting me from where I am to where I ought to be, all to Your glory in Jesus’ name. Psalm 102:13.
11. O Lord my Father, as prophet Samuel grew in stature and favour with God and with men such that You did not let any of his words fall to the ground, grant me such growth, wisdom and unusual favour before God and people, let my words be always Spirit-filled and impactful, and do remarkable and glorious things in and through my life, in Jesus’ name. 1Sam. 2:26; 3:19-21.
12. I declare that every day of this month May and the coming months of the year 2024, I will arise and shine brightly as the greater light, for my light has come and the glory of the Lord has arisen upon me; no matter the darkness or challenges in the world, I will shine very brightly, be distinguished and make a difference and great impact for the Lord and His kingdom’s expansion, all to God’s glory in Jesus’ name. Isaiah 60:1-2.
13. Almighty God my Father, may Your word not depart from my mouth and heart, and that of Your redeemed people; but help us all to meditate upon it day and night hiding and retaining them in our hearts so as to be careful to do according to all that is written in it, that we may prosper and have good success always, in Jesus’ name. Joshua 1:8; Psalm 119:9-11. [Open your mouth and declare God’s word and blessings upon your life-Ps.81:10; Job. 22:28].

Third week

14. I decree and declare that by the power in the blood of Jesus, I disarm any power that has made a covenant with the ground, water or wind about me; I bring such covenants or evil pronouncements to nothingness, in Jesus’ mighty name [Declare this with every earnestness and seriousness!]
15. I challenge and charge my body with the fire of the Holy Spirit, and I command strangers and everything God didn’t plant in me to flee right now and come back no more, in Jesus’ name [Declare boldly fire, fire, fire of the Holy Spirit to burn off such evil implantations].
16. My Father, my Father, my Father Lord God Almighty, by Your unusual favour upon me this month and in my life, may my life not be ordinary, overshadow me with Your Spirit and power, and let the supernatural happen in and through my life, in Jesus’ name. Luke 1:30, 35.
17. O Lord my Father, I join the psalmist to pray: give me a sign of Your goodness, that my enemies may see it and be put to shame for You O Lord have helped and comforted me, in Jesus’ name. Psalm 86:17.
18. O Sovereign Lord my Father, I join prophet Moses to sing and praise You declaring: ascribe greatness to the LORD the Rock, His work is perfect and all His ways are just; O God of faithfulness, without injustice, good and upright You are, in Jesus’ name. Deuteronomy 32:3-4.
19. Almighty and faithful God my Father, I thank and praise You that not one of all the good promises of the Lord to Joshua and Your people, the Israelites failed but were all fulfilled in giving them the land of Canaan; therefore, I every word and promise of Yours for my life will surely come to pass and even now, as I keep holding unto faith and obedience to You, in Jesus’ name. Joshua 23:14.
20. O Lord Jesus, in accordance to Your eternal word, in times of trial and persecution for Your name, grant me and true believers in Christ, the words and wisdom that none of our adversaries/opposers would be able to resist or contradict, in Jesus’ name. Luke 21:15.
21. O Sovereign Lord, I declare according to Your holy and eternal word that splendour and majesty are before You; strength and glory are in Your sanctuary; therefore, as I and Your redeemed people as well as the gathering of Your people are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and so I declare that strength and glory of the Lord are on us and we are not weak but strong in the Lord, in Jesus’ name. Ps. 96:6; 1Cor. 6:19-20; 3:16-17; Eph. 6:10-11.
22. O Lord by Your Spirit’s power, fire and boldness working in me and Your redeemed people in this our year of transformation and readiness, quicken and use us to preach and demonstrate the Spirit and Power of the gospel of the kingdom of God, that King Jesus and His Kingdom is here and coming in power, and to win souls into Your kingdom this month of May and coming months, and to teach them to become disciples and holy brides of Christ, in Jesus’ name. Mt. 6:10; 24:14; 28:18-20; 1Cor.2:4-5.

Fourth week

23. I declare and decree that in this month of May and coming months of this year 2024, by God’s great grace and power working in me, there will be no accident, no untimely death, no sickness, no covid virus or any deadly disease, no failure or misfortune, no losses, no oppression or depression or suppression by demonic forces, no lack upon me and loved ones, in Jesus’ name! Psalm 91; Psalm 23; Isaiah 43:1-7.
24. VICTORY IN JESUS CHURCH: Thank You Lord Jesus for Your blessings, victories and increases/expansions upon our church in the past year(s). And we believe You, that much more are coming this 2024, our year of Transformation and Readiness, in Jesus’ name, hallelujah. O God arise and further bless, increase, and let Your fire of revival fall upon VIJC in different cities where it is established in Poland and thwart/destroy every plan of the enemy against this church and let her fulfil her God-ordained purpose in Poland and across the world, in Jesus’ mighty name.
25. PRAYING FOR POLAND: O Lord bring great revival upon the Body of Christ, the Church in Poland, that our hearts may be burning with deep love to the LORD to be faithful and obedient to Him no matter what it might cost us, love to one another sincerely, that we may in humility of mind esteem/prefer others better than ourselves and also love to the lost including even our enemies, in Jesus’ name! This is maturity and selflessness in Christ-Rom. 12:9-11; Philippians 2:2-4; make us grow in unity and fervency in prayer, and also grant boldness and power of the Holy Spirit to be Your voice and true witness for You in bringing lost souls to faith in Christ. Mat.28:18-20; Acts 1:14; 4:29-31; O Lord may the Church in Poland walk in humility, oneness and co-operation and putting on the whole armour of God to remain strong army of the Lord and overcome all plans of the devil-Eph.6:11-19. O Lord let Your wisdom and fear of the guide those in authority in Poland-the President, Prime Minister and the parliamentarians, governors and newly elected local government officials-mayors, city council members and members of State legislature, that they play their roles in different spheres of governance in the fear of God and the interest of the entire nation beyond personal interests or party affiliations, in Jesus’ name. 1Tim.2:2-4
26. UKRAINE AND RUSSIA: O Lord in Your great mercy intervene and let this war and destruction of lives and properties in Ukraine end; grant grace and military strength and support for Ukraine from the Western countries, to overcome the Russian aggression, in Jesus’ name. We come against the threat and using of atomic bomb by Russia! Psalm 46
27. ETHIOPIA: Using this country as a point of contact for all other countries represented in our church community and in Poland, we pray, O LORD that the light of the gospel may shine forth, expel every darkness, and let Your peace, righteousness and progress reign in all these nations, and thwart the plans of the enemy against Your good purposes for these countries; O Lord, destroy corruption and bribery, remove evil leaders/rulers and give us truly God-fearing leaders in different spheres of governance and leadership in Ethiopia and in all these other countries who would have the interest of the entire nation in their hearts, in Jesus’ name. Prov 14:34; Is. 8:9-10; Is. 62:1-8.
28. ISRAEL: O Lord Jesus, be the Messiah and Savior, Hope and Redeemer of Israel in this very trying time of war! O Lord grant physical, emotional and spiritual healing upon those affected by the war in Gaza, Rafah and Israel itself. O Lord of hosts, strengthen and protect the Israeli Defence force and army and grant quick ending of the war and victory over Hamas, and safe return of the remaining hostages, and Lord in Your mercy stop the escalation of the war, in Jesus’ name. We come against antisemitism across the world and let Your shalom reign in Israel and her borders, in Jesus’ name! Psalms 121, 122; 27:1-6.
29. In every day of this May and coming months of this year 2024, I declare that I will not miss any appointment, but I will be at the right place at the right time, saying and doing the right things, meeting with the right person(s) and bringing great glory to God, in Jesus’ name.
30. O Holy God my Father, in every day of this month May and in my daily life, please keep me always alive and alert in the spirit of holiness and righteousness as Christ’s Holy bride unto His coming, in Jesus’ name. Heb. 12:14; Rev. 19:6-9.
31. Almighty God my Father, I thank You for answering these declarations, decrees and prayers, and doing exceedingly much more than I have declared, thought or imagined by Your power working in me; all glory and praise be to You in and through my life throughout this May and the coming months of this year 2024 and always, in Jesus’ name, amen! Eph. 3:20-21.
