“They that TRUST in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even forever. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts. As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.” Psalm 125:1-5.
A very inspiring and reassuring scripture we can hold unto strongly, as it expresses this blessing of trusting- relying on, looking unto, depending on and resting in the Lord! Acknowledge the Lord’s presence and ability to handle every matter!
Then, you will like mount Zion- which cannot be moved but abides forever! Hence, no negative circumstance or pressure or challenging situation can move you! You are well balanced and firm in the Lord, who is Lord and King over all things, who alone has the last word, glory to God!
Further, the Lord assures you and me, His chosen and redeemed people, of His all-round shielding and protection just as mountains surround Jerusalem. He is our shield, hence, no weapon or arrow of the enemy against us shall harm us in Jesus’ name, glory to God! Also, Isaiah 54:17.
Even during times of trial, the Lord will not allow the enemy’s rod to remain upon us, hence, in the Lord’s great mercy, He will not allow you and I to face what is beyond our strength; but will in every trial or temptation make a way of escape for us, glory to God! – please note also 1 Corinthians 10:13; 2 Peter 2:9. The enemy will never win in your and my life but we remain more than conquerors through Christ who loves us, amen, hallelujah! Rom.8:37
May we then continue to pursue uprightness- doing right always, goodness and TRUST in the Lord; and stay away from every evil or crooked way! And all these blessings and God’s glorious hand and lifting to higher levels will be ours, in Jesus’ name!
Have a blessed, victorious and fruitful weekend and daily life in Christ Jesus.
