“I WILL BLESS the LORD AT ALL TIMES: HIS PRAISE SHALL CONTINUALLY BE IN MY MOUTH. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof and be glad. O MAGNIFY THE LORD WITH ME AND LET US EXALT HIS NAME TOGETHER. I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto Him and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him. O fear the LORD, ye His saints: for there is no want to them that fear Him. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. “Psalm 34:1-10
Indeed, very inspiring and powerful words from King David on having the attitude of blessing and praising God at all times, what would happen when we exalt His awesome name always!
As we acknowledge how great He is and come to Him in joyful praise and thanksgiving no matter our circumstances, He will surely come to deliver from all our fears, make our face radiant and shinning, and He will never allow us to be put to shame, glory to God!
I’m reminded of St. Paul and Silas who in the prison for the sake of the Gospel of Christ; though in chains and pains, yet at midnight they sang and praised the Lord. What happened? The Lord who dwells in the midst of praises of His people- Psalm 22:3, came with His great power and earthquake, loosening their chains, opening the prison doors and setting them and other prisoners free, and more especially saving even the prison guard and his family all at one night of praising God in the midst of trial, glory to God (Please read this amazing story in Acts 16:16-31).
What an encouragement to praise God at all times instead of complaining or worrying or being afraid…!
And our gracious and caring heavenly Father promises that we shall not lack any good thing as we maintain reverence fear, love and trust in Him! He knows you very well and what you need and will surely reach you at your point of need!
Oh, may we keep praising and thanking and lifting up the name of our Almighty God AT ALL TIMES.
And as we do it, may the Lord fill us with great joy and peace, and more especially come mightily to save, deliver and do amazing things beyond our imagination which only Him can do, all to further glory and praise of His awesome name, hallelujah! May this be your portion in Jesus’ name! Thank You Lord Jesus forever.
Have a blessed, praise-full, victorious and fruitful week and daily life in Christ Jesus.
